Kimberly Farmer’s life-long love of graphic design and marketing came as no surprise to her family and friends. She was entering and winning art contests from the time she was in elementary school, and rarely did she give a gift that didn’t have some personal, artistic flare. During high school, her parents encouraged her as she enrolled in art classes, was introduced to graphic design software through opportunities to work for the Kentucky Department of Transportation and DieCast Direct, and was awarded three scholarships to the University of the Cumberlands.

While in college, earning her degrees in Computer Information Systems, Art, and Communication Arts, Kimberly began working in the graphic design field and was given the opportunity to work for Orkin during a summer internship, where she completely designed and partly wrote Rollins’ national employee magazine from cover to cover. She proceeded to graduate at the top of her class in Computer Information Systems, and pursued her professional future in graphic design.

Kimberly, currently located on the east coast, has now been a professional graphic designer and web designer for 15 years, several of those years working at Cynroc Design and Marketing Firm, and she loves design, printed ink, and digital perfection even more than before.

When asked about the supervisors/professors she has learned under, Kimberly reflects, “I have been so blessed to have more than good jobs. I have had mentors. Every one of my bosses or supervisors or professors has been kind to me, given me opportunities to grow, encouraged me, and helped me out if I became stuck. I am so appreciative. Really. So thankful.”

"When I'm not working with clients, I'm still enjoying my creative and organized side. Teaching my kiddos, sewing and getting into other domestic projects, playing piano, experimenting with my camera, traveling, and loving on family are among my very favorite things to do."
